Jacob's Side of the Story

"You know it's the love of your life cause of the way that it is"

I met Hannah 4 years ago at a bible study in SLO right before taking off to Alaska for a mission trip. Little did I know at the time that bible study would be where my life started. Hannah's genuine smile, inviting eyes, and kind heart caught my attention from the beginning. Fast forward three years of friendship and one day it just clicked. I looked at Hannah and thought "That's it, that's what I have been wanting this whole time!" and took a week to muster the confidence to ask her out! From the start, my relationship with Hannah has become the most "normal" part of my life. She is the easiest person to confide in, the kindest person to live life with, and the most servant hearted person you'll ever meet. It was very clear to me that God had an intention in bringing the two of us together and that it would last a lifetime. So on April 10th, I got on one knee and asked the woman of my dreams to spend her life with me. And she said YES! WOOOOOOO! Anyway, see y'all at the wedding!

Hannah's Side of the Story

ZOOWEEMAMA

Boy, oh boy. How do you even START to talk about the beginning of your happily ever after story? Beats me, but I'm gonna give it a shot! I met Jacob at our co-ed growth group with our church at the time, and I remember the first thing that came to mind was, "WOAH this dude's got an awesome set of eyebrows", and the rest is history (kidding)... Aside from his handsome features, Jacob's servant-heartedness and the witty banter we shared with one another caught my attention more so. Said banter turned into flirting very abruptly (on my end), and I'd say was pretty effective. After our first date, I went and told Haley, "this is the man I am going to marry", I truly had no doubt. The "when you know, you know" cliche, no longer sounded cliche. Jacob is the most gentle, loving, sincere man I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Our friendship built up to become the greatest reflection of Christ's love to me that I have ever experienced, and I cannot wait to spend my life with him. Saying yes was equally the easiest and most exciting "yes" I've ever given - I was in sweatpants, but Jacob says that's besides the point. See you all at the wedding!
