Directly across the street from The Chase Park Plaza Hotel lies Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country, even bigger than Central Park in New York. It’s the heart of St. Louis and full of free attractions and beautiful scenery. St. Louis Art Museum – World-class art with free admission. St. Louis Zoo – A family favorite, and completely free. Missouri History Museum – Learn about St. Louis’ past, including the 1904 World’s Fair. The Muny – Outdoor musicals under the stars. Science Center & Planetarium – Hands-on exhibits for curious minds. Jewel Box Greenhouse – A stunning glasshouse filled with seasonal blooms.
