The wedding is plush backyard English garden, and we encourage you to dress fun and fancy! We will be on grass, so wedges and flats are suggested. If there is a style, a color, a pattern, an outfit, a dream dress you've always wanted to wear - do it! Late Summer/Early Fall colors in New England are beautiful and vibrant, so dress to impress.
There will be a moment in the ceremony where we will open it up to our community (that's you) for words of wisdom, short readings and offerings, words of love, and the like. Please feel free to come prepared with something or offer something if you feel inspired in the moment. We are who we are, as individuals and as partners, because of all of you and we're grateful to share in this ceremony with you. There will be light refreshments available when you arrive, with time to say hello to those you know, meet some new friends, and settle in. We will be at the private home of Sheree and Paul Bloomberg, and parking will be guided. If you are able to carpool, please do.
3:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Following the ceremony will be some pictures, with refreshments provided while we move between ceremony and party. We may disappear for a few, so get to know some new people! We promise, if we invited you, you're pretty wonderful - and so is everyone around you. If you have young people with you, this will be a perfect time for them to be introduced over at the kid's tent. With crafty activities, theatrical fun, and light sports, we know they'll have an awesome time. And while we're taking photos, we hope you will too! There's a great spot for selfies and photos in the pergola and in the garden, and there's also a video guestbook set up in the garden. Directions are over there too, so whether you have a solo message or want to pop on with some other folks, we'd love to have you "sign."
