Things To Do

If you're planning to stay for a while and make the most of the holiday weekend, check out some of our favorite things to do in the city!

Bloomfield Saturday Market

5050 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224

The Pirates are in town!

115 Federal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Watch the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Cardinals (July 2, 3, 4) and the Mets (July 5, 6, 7, 8) at the "best ballpark in America"

Strip District

Pittsburgh, PA

Eat your way around the Strip District, starting with a coffee at La Prima Espresso Company. Get a hearty brunch at Pamela's, pierogi's at S&D Polish Deli, biscotti at Enrico's, or any Italian food you could ever want at Penn Mac (Pennsylvania Macaroni Company). A great way to spend Saturday morning!

Fourth of July Fireworks at Point State Park

601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

If you're arriving on or before the 4th, check out Pittsburgh's fireworks display along the river. Bring a blanket and some snacks and note that parking may be difficult.

Highland Park Swimming Pool

151 Lake Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Hannah's favorite place to be in the summer! Buy a day pass for $5 cash and swim between 11 AM - 1 PM (lap swim) and 1 PM - 5:45 PM (open swim) on Saturday and Sunday!

The Andy Warhol Museum

117 Sandusky Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium

7370 Baker Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Aspinwall Riverfront Park

285 River Avenue, Aspinwall, PA 15215

Also known as Allegheny River Trail Park. Spend a morning eating breakfast at Farmer x Baker here, sitting by the water, or renting a kayak from 3 Rivers Outdoor Co and kayaking on the river.

For all the days along the way
