Formal attire: We suggest midi- or floor-length dresses or dressy separates for the ladies and dark colored suit and tie for the gentlemen. Guests are encouraged but not required to dress in vibrant autumn colors!
There is plenty of parking onsite at the Cathedral of Christ the King for the ceremony. There is not parking onsite at Limestone Hall where the reception is taking place. We encourage you to carpool or Uber to the reception. If you do plan to drive, there is a convenient garage at 230 W Main Street. If that fills up, there is another option a few blocks away called “Courthouse Garage at 105 Barr Street (this garage allows pre-purchase of parking through SpotHero.com).
The forecast looks beautiful! Highs in the 70s both Friday and Saturday with sunny skies. The evenings could be slightly chilly so we recommend packing a light shawl or jacket.
Both ceremony and reception will be indoor affairs.
Transportation will not be provided. The ceremony is a short drive away from recommended hotels with ample parking and ride share (Uber/Lyft) typically readily available in Lexington. Additionally, several of our recommended hotels are very near the reception venue.
The ceremony will take place at the Cathedral of Christ the King: 299 Colony Boulevard, Lexington, KY The reception will be at Limestone Hall: 215 West Main Street, 3rd Floor, Lexington, KY
We would love for you to join us for a tailgate and day at the races at Keeneland on Friday, October 25th! No ticket is required for the tailgate, but you should plan to purchase a ticket in advance if you plan to attend the races. We will begin tailgating at 10:30 AM. First post is at 1:00 PM. Don’t forget to bring cash if you would like to bet! Please let us know if you plan to join when you RSVP. Folks typically wear smart casual dress—for ladies a fall skirt, dress, or stylish pant outfit, for gentlemen a collared shirt and pants (sport coat optional). Denim is permitted at Keeneland.
There will not be a hotel block. Please see the Travel page on this website for hotel recommendations in close proximity to the wedding festivities. Outside of those listed, there are many other hotels in Lexington as well as VRBO and Airbnb options that you may want to explore. This will be a busy weekend in Lexington with Keeneland running and Kentucky Football playing at home. We recommend booking your travel early!
Please let us know if you will be able to celebrate with us via the RSVP page on this website no later than September 25th. There will be no mail back RSVP card.
We can only accommodate those listed on your formal invitation.
Due to venue restrictions, we kindly ask that only those listed on your formal invitation attend. If your children are listed on the invitation, we can’t wait to celebrate with them!
