Live music, waterfront views, and right next to Jimmy Buffett's recording studio. Be sure to order the Royal Reds (sometimes an off-menu item).
A favorite bar of the Seiters. It has a Key West locals vibe and live music. It's near the Conch Republic Seafood restaurant if you want to stop by before or after dinner. Be sure to check out the top deck for some views.
The absolute best beach in Key West! It's a state park, so there is an admission fee of around $2-$3 per person (bring cash!). We recommend riding a bike or scooter to get here. You can take Petronia Street to the end where the signs to the beach will start. You can also visit the actual fort and do a self-guided tour. Be sure to bring a cooler and snacks for the day and koozies to disguise your drinks. There are bathrooms and a food shack (bring cash). The beach is lined with picnic table, offers ample shade from trees, and also has charcoal grills. No need to bring beach chairs or umbrellas. The beach closes at sunset. The sunset is worth waiting for.
Stop by here for a quick lunch near the southernmost point. The lobster rolls are amazing. Recommended for carry-out. There is limited indoor seating.
This is a huge, colorful pier to watch the sunset. It's kind of hidden at the very north end of Duval St. There is a bar, bar food, and usually live music during sunset each day.
This is a great place to visit for those who enjoy a little bit of Key West history. You can take a tour of Hemingway's home and see the six-toed cats who dwell there.
This restaurant serves a great brunch and has the best key lime pie on the island. It also had a chicken graveyard.
This key lime shop is near the Conch Republic Restaurant & Schooner's Wharf Bar. They offer samples of what seems like every variation of dessert/snack that is key lime flavored. Most notable is their key lime pir on a stick. Kermit is often standing at the front door to greet you.
