We met officially at a local bar called Kilarneys in our hometown of Ludlow. We had known of eachother & seen eachother at friend gatherings. I knew that Dylan thought I was cute so I approached him and asked if he wanted to take a shot. We talked alittle but it didnt lead anywhere that night. He told his friends that he could see himself with a girl like me & I told my friends the same. That following week he asked me to hang out. We hung out ALL weekend and were inseparable ever since.

I think after the first year of dating I got myself excited for special events thinking he would propose. Dylan always joked that he wanted to be with someone for 5 years before talking about marriage and another 5 before getting married. And man did I laugh my butt off realizing that we will be getting married 2 weeks after our 10 year anniversary. Christmas 2021 came & we were at my parents house. I really thought this was it because that week he told me to get my nails done, just cause. Christmas came and went and I was disappointed. New Years came and I went about our normal routine. Brought Maeven upstairs for bed & as I came down the stairs he was waiting for me with the ring, kneeling. It was such a special perfect moment. Us in our home we built together, with just us & our daughter! Come to find out that he had originally planned to asked me at Christmas with my family but he got a call that the ring was ready the day after we left for Vermont.
