FAQs

Question

What is the dress code? And... do I have to wear shoes?

Answer

We're going for cocktail attire. So think dressed up but still comfy enough to eat, drink and dance. And yes-shoes are required at all times (not our rule, the venue's) As much as we support barefoot freedom and post-dinner heel rebellion, the floors don't. So bring your best dance friendly kicks, and leave the footloose moments for the movie

Question

Do I really need to wear a jacket?

Answer

Technically? No. But should you? Absolutely. Jackets are strongly encouraged - because this is a wedding not a backyard BBQ (love those too, just not this time). Think of it as your superhero cape for the night. You can always take it off when the dance floor heats up - Dustin isn't a monster.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by September 1st so we can finalize the headcount (and not guess how many chairs to put out)

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invite says "+1," then yes!!! Otherwise, we love you - but this party's tight on space

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We adore your kiddos, but this is an adult only celebration. Book that sitter and enjoy a night out!

Question

I'm gluten-free/vegan/allergic to 27 things - can I eat?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be station style - aka multiple food stations with a variety of options so you can load up on what you love!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us - come thirsty! We'll have a full bar with local beer, wine, cocktails, and maybe even a signature drink or two. Please drink responsibly (and dance recklessly)

Question

Where do I park at the venue?

Answer

Ah parking in the city.... the ultimate wedding guest adventure. As of right now there is no dedicated lot, but there's street parking and nearby lots - just leave yourself a little extra time (Buffalo's got charm, but parallel parking skills are definitely a bonus)

Question

Is the wedding reception handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! The party is on the 4th floor, but don't worry - we've got an elevator, so no stair-climbing required (unless you're into that kind of thing)

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

Well, you could camp out under the skyway but we recommend a slightly more comfortable option. We've got a block of rooms reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown - see travel tab for more info

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift of all! But if you'd like to help us start our next chapter we are kindly accepting monetary gifts in lieu of a registry - see registry tab
