Dillon and Hannah’s story began on a softball field. Hannah attended a Dashiell intramural softball game to cheer on her brother, who worked at Dashiell and happened to be teammates with Dillon. Little did she know that one game would introduce her to the man she would eventually marry. After meeting Hannah, Dillon made it clear that he was interested and wasn't afraid to put in the effort. Despite his persistence, it took a few attempts before the timing was finally right. As fate would have it, the two crossed paths again at church, where they reconnected and decided to go on their first date.
