Can I take photos?
Answer
We have hired incredible photographers to capture our day. We are requesting that you please do not take pictures during the ceremony. Our officiant will announce a time during the ceremony for everyone to snap a pic, but outside of that, please refrain from doing so. You are welcome to take photos and videos throughout the rest of the night, as long as you promise to share them with the couple!

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
We would love to see all our guests in Semi-formal/cocktail attire. Suits and cocktail dresses would be appropriate! Our wedding color scheme is plum purple, lavender, sage green, and cream white. Late September weather can be a bit unpredictable in New England. We are hoping for a 60-70 degree sunny day! As long as there is no rain, our ceremony will be outside and our reception will be indoors

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you "and date" you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied. Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate our closest family and friends. We thank you for understanding!

Are Children Invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration! We hope you take this opportunity to treat our wedding day as a night to relax and enjoy! We appreciate you making prior arrangments so you can celebrate with us!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
Answer
We would highly recommend taking a taxi, Uber, or Lyft. They are readily available in the Hartford area and you should not have trouble getting one. We are hoping that parking will not be a problem, but because our wedding is in a public park, there is a chance it will be difficult to find a parking spot. Parking is free in the park.

I am arriving before the date, what is there to do in the area?
Answer
The Hartford area has so many excellent things to do! Please look at the "Things to do" tab for some of our favorite activities and restaurants in the area! We would highly recommend checking out the Mark Twain house while you are here!

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. Please click on the registry tab above to find an assortment of times.
