There are so many important people in our lives that we just couldn't choose. We have decided to forgo a traditional wedding party.
Zaffé - The Zaffé is the newlywed couple's grand entrance to their reception. As they couple is announced at the beginning of the reception they'll be accompanied by a troupe of drummers that play traditional, upbeat Arabic music. The entire audience joins in and dances along in celebration. Sahra - During the week leading up to the wedding the family and friends from both sides of the marriage, gather together to celebrate the union. Jordan Almonds - 5 sugared almonds are given to each wedding guests. One each to represent love, health, happiness, fertility, and a long life together. Dabke - A traditional Lebanese wedding includes a lot of singing and dancing, especially dabke! Dabke is a dance of coordinated group movements and steps, usually performed to a specific type of arabic music.
