Curtiss & Hannah met on the field in Nippert Stadium the second week of Hannah's freshman year. They got to know each other sitting on the turf, and decided to go on a first date the following weekend. Nothing came of that first date, but after running into each other again and again, they finally got the hint that they should pursue this relationship. If they didn't believe in fate before, now they're convinced!

We decided to kick off the Christmas season in Leavenworth, WA. The town sits at the base of the Cascade mountains, and the town goes big decorating for the holidays. We went on a hike that had a beautiful view of the mountains and the town below. Along the way we stopped to take photos a number of times, the last being a video to catch the full proposal. We were both so excited that Curtiss forgot to actually ask "Will you marry me."
