We're Getting Married!

Cody and Hannah grew up in the same area and even attended the same high school, but fate had different plans for their paths to cross. It wasn't until later in life, at a time when both of them needed a friend, that their stories intertwined. In the spring of 2020, they started connecting over daily FaceTime calls, sharing laughs and stories. By May, they finally met in person and instantly clicked. That summer, they spent every day together, whether it was backyard cookouts with Cody's family, geocaching adventures, movie nights, or just enjoying each other's company. By the end of the summer, they had become best friends, inseparable and deeply connected. October 2020 marked the beginning of their romantic journey. In 2021, they took a significant step forward and moved into their first home together. This home, shared with their four beloved "furbabies," quickly became a haven filled with love, laughter, and lots of dog hair. Life was content, but Cody had a surprise in store. On October 15, 2022, he planned a beautiful sunrise proposal. Hannah had an inkling that this might be the moment she had been dreaming of. As the sunrise came and went, Hannah's excitement turned into impatience, unaware that poor Cody was anxiously awaiting the arrival of a photographer who had gone to the wrong beach. They spent the morning climbing tree limbs, collecting seashells, and playing several games of tic-tac-toe, with Hannah becoming increasingly discouraged. Just as they were about to leave, the photographer finally arrived. To Hannah's surprise, Cody got down on one knee and proposed, revealing his attempts to delay the moment until everything was perfect. While they didn't get their sunrise photos, the proposal turned out to be exactly as it was meant to be—filled with love, laughter, and a touch of spontaneity.
