We can't wait to celebrate together in the city where we fell in love
Although we've never been able to land on the exact moment we met, we know we met sometime during our first week at Georgia Tech. We both were in the same Calculus 2 class, lived in the same dorm, and hung out at Delta Chi. Hannah's first impression of Chris was that he gave the best hugs. Chris's first impression of Hannah was that she always had the right answer in class. Before we knew it, we were dating! As the years kept passing, the relationship we started at 18 kept growing stronger. We learned to have our own independent educational trajectories, organizations, and leadership roles but would always come together at the end of the day for quality time and a late night snack, our usual rotation of cookies, milkshakes, or doughnuts. Fast forward to graduation, Hannah flew out to Berkeley to start her PhD while Chris stayed at Georgia Tech to get his MS and drive the Ramblin' Reck. Chris found his way to the Bay Area one year later, and we had three wonderful years living together and building a home in the Bay. We loved hiking in the wonderful national and regional parks, picnicking in Napa, hitting golf balls at Tilden Regional Park, making our own pasta, and going to trivia nights at Bobby G's. In 2021, Chris left his job at Clorox to pursue his MBA at Harvard while Hannah stayed in the Bay to finish up her PhD. Just like that, we were back to long-distance. We visit each other often, sometimes in cool places, and still try to watch new Marvel releases together through synchronized streaming. Over the past 10 years, our relationship has evolved to meet the needs of our current situation. We are each others' biggest cheerleaders and support, and we know we have a foundation to tackle any challenge. We can't wait to graduate, get married, and be in the same city together as we head into our next chapter!
