FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to us at least one week before our wedding weekend.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. Please no work boots or overalls (I'm looking at you, Uncle Jimmy). A suit or tux for men, and a dress or formal jumpsuit for women are possible options!

Question

Should I wear a particular color?

Answer

If you'd like to be on-theme with our wedding colors, we are using dusty blue, navy blue, and sage green. Soft, muted spring colors would work fine, though!

Question

Do I need to bring a gift? Do you have a registry?

Answer

If you'd like! We do not have a registry. We'd happily accept gifts from our guests, but do not expect one. We're just excited for you to join us on our special day.

Question

When should I arrive in Long Island?

Answer

We suggest arriving Friday night (5/24) or Saturday morning (5/25). On Saturday, we will have a rehearsal at the church with those involved (time: TBD), followed by a rehearsal BBQ dinner at the Weibley House at 5:30pm.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Weibley House: street parking St. Raphael's Parish: designated parking lot The Capital Grille: designated parking lot or valet parking

Question

Can I invite people to come to the church ceremony?

Answer

No. We are keeping the ceremony and reception small. Please do not invite people to come to the ceremony that did not receive an invitation from us.

Question

What time will the ceremony end?

Answer

Approximately 4pm. You may choose to return to your hotel/house you are staying at to recoup before dinner.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No. Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired an excellent photographer and we do not want guests interfering with her job.

Question

Should I change before dinner?

Answer

If you have an outfit that is still semi-formal, but a bit more comfortable for dinner, you absolutely may change! We do ask attire remain semi-formal for the dinner. Our photographer will continue capturing the night throughout dinner.

Question

What food will be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes. We are still determining if it will be a la carte for guests to order off the restaurant menu or if there will be select options to choose from.

Question

Is there a cocktail hour? Is there an open bar?

Answer

No.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Bring an umbrella.
