How we met

by Hannah

Charlie and I met at work 9 years ago. We were both placed in the same training class, we were welcomed in and picked our seats. I imagined it would be your typical first day at work, then there Charlie was making his way in the room, i couldn't quite understand what i felt when i saw him at the time but now i know that what i felt was the spark that would forever light the rest of my days and unknowingly the beginning to an amazing journey together. As the months passed we got to know each other more, which led to our first date. After discovering a mutual love of travel, love and family Charlie asked me to be his girlfriend at a family gathering on 4th of July. 8 years worth of memories later Charlie finally popped the question on a boat while we watched the sunset in Puerto Penasco and I said yes!!!

The Day I Met Her

by Charlie

Hannah and I met after I graduated high school. Never in my mind did I think that id meet the love of my life shortly after. Fresh out of high school I had no clue what I wanted to do, should I work or go to school? I decided not to start school instead I wanted to work right away! Lucky for me it was definitely the right choice! Little did I know that I would meet the love of my life. We started work in the same training class, it was day one. As I was walking into my class with the rest of my colleagues I see Hannah sitting down being as perfect as she can be sitting in the front row. You know in the movies when someone sees a hottie and everything just slows down...that is how it felt when I saw Hannah as I walked in through that door. Being how beautiful she is I thought geez I bet she is taken already. Weeks went by I got to know Hannah through work activities I then found out she was single! I had to come up with a plan quick. There was no plan though through genuine conversations as weeks passed I knew there was a spark there. Further on I decided to make a move; little did I know she felt the same way for me. That was the day my journey began with the love of my life. 1 year after dating we moved in together to our first place in downtown El Paso TX, 2 years later next thing we know we are moving out to Houston. It was a huge jump for us and we were both really nervous about starting over again in a city much bigger than El Paso. But I knew with this strong duo we were unstoppable, our love grew a lot more having one another to lean on. Fast forward 5 years later we are back in El Paso. Couple of years after settling back home we decided to take a trip with friends and family down to Puerto Penasco MX .This was when I thought it'd be the perfect time to pop the big question. The only thing I was nervous about was losing the ring because I was very confident she wouldn't tell me no. 07/07/2018 was the day I proposed and one of the happiest days of my life!
