Question

Where in Copper Harbor is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both take place at Harbor Haus, with the ceremony held on their scenic dock and the reception in their event center. Address: 77 Brockway Ave. Copper Harbor, MI 49918

Question

Why Copper Harbor?

Answer

Copper Harbor is a place that is very special to us. It’s where our story began 9/25/21 with a campfire and a ring pop at Trail’s End Campground. It’s a place that we return to throughout each year for the peace, bike trails, thimbleberry jam, and the pannukakku (Finish Pancake) from Jamsen’s bakery. We are excited to share our “happy place” with those that we love most.

Question

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

We recommend booking your hotel as soon as possible. Copper Harbor is a charming but compact destination, and late September is prime time for leaf-peeping tourists. As a result, local lodging options can fill up quickly, so early reservation is key to ensuring you have a comfortable place to stay during our celebration.

Question

What’s the cell service/WiFi like in Copper Harbor?

Answer

In Copper Harbor, cell service is nonexistent and WiFi is limited. You'll most-likely only get cell coverage at the top of Brockway Mountain —a scenic spot worth visiting—and slow WiFi at your accommodation and/or the visitor center in town.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore children, our venue has limited capacity, so we can only accommodate the little ones specifically named on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Since our ceremony will be on the dock, we recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable and warm. Cocktail attire is perfect for the occasion! We're embracing an earthy color palette—think sage and emerald green, warm browns, honey tones, and burnt orange—feel free to draw inspiration from these natural hues when selecting your outfit.
