As you may know, Bub and I have known each other since we were wee tots. Growing up together, we had no idea what God had in store for us. And it wasn't until we both made it through puberty that we even noticed each other. That's when Bubby got up the courage to ask me on a date to watch the stars in the back of his truck. After a few hours of talking and stargazing he kissed me out of the blue. It would take a year for him to ask me to be his girlfriend, and five more years to ask me to be his wife!

On October 3, 2020 I boarded a flight in Little Rock, Arkansas after spending a month with my sister and her four kids, heading home. A few days before my flight, Bubby asked if I would want to catch the sunset somewhere cool in Sacramento before heading to Chico when I landed. As watching sunsets is something we do, and I had been gone for a month I said sure. My flight landed around 5 or 6 pm and there wasn't much of a sunset that night, but I had so much to say to Bubby after not seeing him for a moth I didn't even notice. We arrived at the Tower Bridge in old town Sacramento, Bubby nervously tripping down the parking garage steps. We walked halfway across the bridge and Bubby began to direct my attention toward an interesting building in front of us, and a boat below playing music, all while fidgeting and looking around behind us. Stepping away from me he said "Hannah," As I turned around I saw Bubby's father, mother, and sister with video cameras, and there he was. On his knee, with a bouquet of flowers and a ring, "I'm not sure of many things in life, but I know I want to spend the rest of it with you, will you marry me?" Obviously, I said yes!

Hello all! In light of COVID-19 and people traveling for this wedding celebration, we just wanted to quickly inform you all of our plan. We ask that you wear your mask upon arrival and anytime you are milling about in groups or walking past several people. When seated for dinner, drinking cocktails, and during the ceremony we ask you to do your best to social distance and we will assist you in this endeavor by spreading things out to the best of our ability. Above all we want this to be a fun and enjoyable wedding, we will provide extra masks, hand sanitizer and will be following CDC guidelines to the best of our ability and we ask you do the same! We are so excited to see you and celebrate with you, so lets do our best to keep each other safe and healthy!
