Which airport to fly into?

We strongly recommend flying into Roanoke (ROA), which is less than an hour’s drive from the wedding venue and is the most convenient option. Keep in mind that ROA is a smaller airport and flight options may be limited depending on your schedule. Other airports within driving distance include Greensboro (GSO), less than two hours away, Raleigh-Durham (RDU), about two and a half hours away, Richmond (RIC), around three hours away, and Charlotte (CLT), approximately three and a half hours away.

Should we rent a car?

We recommend renting a car for guests flying into town. There are few taxis and Ubers available, so having a car will make getting around much easier. Once you arrive at Bernard’s Landing, everything you need for the weekend will be right on site, making it a true one-stop destination!
