First I want to start off by stating that we both have lived in Washington majority of our lives. We both lived in hazel dell for years, played at the same little league, as well as both lived in Vancouver many years as well. During all of this we didn't know each other or even ever run into each other. It wasn't until many years later, at the age of 15 we met through mutual friends and connected on social media. Although we didn't go to the same school, we knew and were friends with a lot of the same people all through softball and baseball. I remember walking around school being stopped just because I knew Brodie. Every encounter I had with someone that knew Brodie only had good things to say, like "i love that kid". This was just the start, we instantly connected through texting and online. He was there for me when no one else was, in the beginning this man was my best friend. We were friends first with nothing attached. I even had a boyfriend when we met, which only lasted a few months before we broke up. Brodie was there for me when no one else was, he truly showed me life doesn't end after you get cheated on. He picked up pieces he did not break and that shows truly how selfless this man is. After months of talking on the phone and many hours on face time just being there for each other, we built an incredibly strong bond as genuinely best friends. One day Brodie had asked if we could go to the movies, as a new scary movie was coming out and this genre is both of our favorites. I didn't think anything of it, I thought okay we are going to the movies as friends nothing more since that all I thought we were. We both get to the movie, find our seats and before the movie even starts we, start talking. Talking about everything under the sun, and we did not stop once during the movie. It was like we have been best friends for years, when in reality this was our first time ever hanging out. The movie ended and we were walking out laughing because we didn't even end up watching the movie. We both exit the movie theater, and right as we walk out he pulls me the side of the movie theater. He begins telling me how much fun he had talking with me, I agreed of course. then out of no where he asks me to be his girlfriend because he can't imagine loosing a girl like me. I was stunned, but I thought the same, I cannot loose this amazing loving caring man, so I said yes. We have been inseparable since and the rest is history!
