Our story begins in 4th grade, when I first moved to Plattsburg and my teacher sat me right next to the silent kid, Brian. Because alphabetically our last names are directly next to one another, so were our seats for the next 4 years and I don't think Brian said 2 words to me. He always laughed at my jokes and smiled when I asked him questions, but no words. When we got into high school I was in a class with Brian's older brother Luke, who re-introduced Brian and I and ever since then we were inseparable. We would spend every moment we could together, pick our classes together and even make sure we went on the same field trips as one another. Once we graduated high school we spent all our free time together, traveling as much as we could. We got our first place together in Kearney in the middle of a pandemic and the world was shut down. We adopted Brian's grandmas dog, Bernie and 2 cats. Then we got Loki from Luke, and 6 months later we got Koda. We spent all of our time with them, taking them to parks and training them, we became certified crazy dog parents. We just bought our first house in Excelsior and have a lot of plans for remodeling, and renovating.
