Glacier National Park
A must-see while you’re in the area! Explore scenic drives like Going-to-the-Sun Road, take in breathtaking mountain views, or enjoy one of the many beautiful hiking trails. (We recommend Avalanche Lake for a moderate hike with stunning views!) Hannah came here with her family in 2018 and fell in love, last September she dragged Brayden back (and forced him to hike over 15 miles), and well... he fell in love too. Now they're choosing to celebrate their special day right in Glacier's backyard. You'd be silly not to take advantage of being so close!
Whitefish City Beach
A perfect spot for a relaxing lake day. Bring a picnic, swim, rent a paddleboard, or just soak up the sun with stunning views of Whitefish Lake.
Flathead Lake
One of the largest freshwater lakes in the U.S., offering stunning views, swimming, boating, and plenty of peaceful spots to unwind. Plenty of options for boat rentals along Flathead Lake!
Downtown Whitefish
A charming, walkable downtown filled with local shops, restaurants, coffee spots, and live music; perfect for an afternoon or night out. Fun fact: Hannah is having her bachelorette party here!
Swan Mountain Outfitters (horseback riding)
Experience Montana the classic way with guided horseback rides through beautiful mountain landscapes. Hannah came here with her family in 2018, the ride was single file through a forest, not mountains, but if you book one of the longer rides you may have better luck! We rate it a 5/10, but great if you want a slow easy ride.
Glacier Raft Company
For a little adventure, try white water rafting along the Flathead River; a fun and memorable way to take in the scenery. We also did this in 2018, this was a ton of fun! Our rating 9/10!
Polebridge Mercantile & Bakery
A bit of a drive, but worth it for their famous huckleberry bear claws and a true Montana foodie experience.
The Great Northern Bar & Grill
A local favorite for casual drinks, live music, and a fun night out in downtown Whitefish.
Whitefish Mountain Resort
Take a scenic chairlift ride, enjoy hiking trails, or explore the mountain. Great views and activities year-round!
