Question

Where and when is the wedding?

Answer

Location: Spirit Crossing; 343 Clinch River Circle Sneedville, TN 37869 Time: 10/16/2021 at 4:00pm The road can be a bit easy to miss, so we will put up purple and black balloons and signs to point the way. Keep in mind, cellphone service can sometimes be lost in this area. There is cell service at the venue.

Question

Where and when is the bridal shower?

Answer

Location: 7528 Glen Arden Drive, Knoxville, TN 37931 Time: 07/24/2021 at 12:00pm

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Dressy-formal or semi-formal, with sturdy shoes. Be comfortable. Keep in mind it may get chilly later in the evening.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

Yourselves mostly! Bring your own alcohol if you wish. Sneedville is a dry county, so you need to buy any alcohol before arriving in the county. PLEASE DO NOT BRING GLASS. If you plan to camp, bring your own gear. Bring a sweater, it might get cool at night. Sun screen, bug spray, and/or an umbrella are also a good idea.

Question

How do I contribute?

Answer

We are raising money for a housing fund. You are also welcome to bring something else or just yourself. We would love to spend this time with you.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Sneedville is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Knoxville. The closest town to Sneedville with hotels is Morristown. We don't suggest the Sneedville motel. You can also camp overnight if you like, just bring your gear and keep in mind it might get a little chilly at night.

Question

What is the venue like? What amenities will it have?

Answer

The same venue, Spirit Crossing, will host both the wedding and reception. Spirit Crossing is a beautiful property. A grass field divides the Clinch river and the home with ample cover and room for tables on its surrounding porches in the case of rain (house indoor access will be restricted to the wedding party and family). Otherwise, tables will likely be placed on the grass behind the house. The house on the property has a functional stage on the back which will be utilized for reception entertainment. Water and soda will be provided in large coolers for guests prior to and after the ceremony, as well as a catered meal at the reception. Two clean porta-potties will be available for guest use. Paths are concrete or gravel. There is also grass and always the possibility of mud.
