Question

Where's the wedding?

Answer

We will be celebrating our wedding weekend in Florence, Italy. Our venue is approximately 20 minutes by car outside the city centre, and our welcome + goodbye brunch will be in the city centre.

Question

How do I get to Florence, Italy?

Answer

We recommend flying, unless you get a running head start now. By Plane: Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR): This is the closest airport to our wedding venue, located about 5 miles from the city center. Pisa International Airport (PSA): Located about 50 miles west of Florence. The airport has a train station with direct services to Florence's Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. The journey takes about an hour. By Train: From Rome: Trains from Rome to Florence depart from Roma Termini station and arrive at Florence's Santa Maria Novella (SMN) station. The high-speed Frecciarossa and Frecciargento trains provide the fastest service, taking approximately 1.5 hours. From Milan: Trains from Milan to Florence depart from Milano Centrale station and arrive at Florence's Santa Maria Novella (SMN) station. The journey on the high-speed Frecciarossa trains takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. By Car: For those who are comfortable driving, Florence is well connected by a network of highways. However, do note that the historic center of Florence is a limited traffic zone (ZTL). While you can drive there we don't recommend it, and parking is expensive.

Question

How do I get to the Wedding Venue?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service picking up guests staying in the Florence City Centre. If you prefer to take your own transportation, the venue is approximately 20 minutes by car from the city centre.

Question

When should I get to Italy?

Answer

While the wedding events will start on Thursday, May 9, 2024, attendance is not required until the Wedding Day on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Therefore, you can plan your arrival in Italy based on your personal preferences and travel schedule. If you want to attend all the wedding events, we recommend arriving in Florence a day or two before the wedding weekend commences to give yourself enough time to settle in and get acclimated to the city. We, personally, will be arriving May 4, 2024. We look forward to celebrating with you, whenever you arrive!

Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out in the fall of 2023, which will include all the details about the wedding and how to RSVP. We will kindly ask that you RSVP no later than 2-3 months before the wedding date to ensure that we have an accurate headcount. However, if you are already certain that you will or will not be able to attend, we would love to hear from you. This will help us to have a better idea of the number of guests who will be attending and to plan accordingly. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
