We’re getting married!

We met in 2022 at JP’s Pizzeria, thanks to our best friends, Liv and Dillan. Liv invited me out for dinner, and Dillan brought Ben. I ended up sitting next to him, and honestly, we didn’t talk much. I wasn’t thinking anything of it — just hanging out, eating & having some drinks, minding my business. After dinner, we all went back to Liv and Dillan’s to hang out, and that’s when Ben and I actually started talking. It was easy — we were laughing, joking around, and by the end of the night, I remember thinking, “Wait… I think I might like this guy.” I wasn’t looking for anything serious at the time, but he completely caught me off guard. What started as a random dinner with friends turned into the start of something I didn’t even know I was looking for — and now here we are. ❤️

We got engaged during a memorable vacation in Florida, and I was completely clueless about what was about to happen. It was our first trip with our daughter, Ava, and Ben suggested we take some family pictures on the beach. I thought nothing of it at the time. We brought a nice camera that linked to our phones, allowing us to take photos without holding the camera. I insisted on using my phone for the pictures, which made it a bit tricky for Ben to propose without me noticing. Despite my distractions, Ben managed to pull off the perfect surprise! When he got down on one knee, I was caught completely off guard and overwhelmed with joy. It was a moment I’ll never forget, and the beautiful beach setting made it all the more special.
