Why are y’all eloping?

Austin and I both loved the idea of a small beach wedding, SO that’s what we are doing! We know a lot of people wanted to celebrate us here so we are having a separate wedding shower/celebration in Little Rock in August before the wedding.

Who is invited to the Beach Wedding?

Answer

Family and a few friends only. We wanted the wedding to be intimate and simple. The more we have planned it has basically become a family vacation with both sides. Formal invites will be sent for this.

Everyone! We are sending formal invites for this party but plus ones and kids are welcome !

What to expect at the Wedding Celebration?

PINK! I chose a simple black and white theme for our wedding so I needed color somewhere. Please wear your favorite shade of pink to fit the ‘Steel Magnolias’ theme! This party is for all of our friends and family at home. It is not a typical “shower” so feel free to stop by anytime. We will have the bible and cross that will be at our wedding and would love to have everyone sign it so that it can be a piece of our special day. Your presence is all we ask for but if you would like to bring a gift or card, we will have a gift table. We want to spend the time with everyone that attends. That being said, we will not be opening any gifts at the party to focus on those who are only stopping by. We will have snacks and drinks as well!

What to Expect at the Beach Ceremony?

Information like time and location will be on the formal invite. The venue does have plenty of parking but please carpool if possible. The wedding is on the roof so please use the main entrance when you arrive and someone will direct the way. Austin and I ask that all guests wear black to match the theme! If you show up in white - no matter how much I love you - you will not be in pictures. :) After the ceremony we will have buffet style BBQ followed with desserts + a little beach party. If you plan to stay a while after the ceremony to play games, swim, + celebrate/visit - we suggest you bring a change of clothes! We are not doing a “send off” or leaving until the day after the wedding so feel free to make plans for the weekend to explore the beach and this beautiful part of Florida. We are in a turtle sanctuary and need to be mindful of the lights after 10PM but we personally would also like to be courteous to the other people that may have access to this private beach as well.
