We like to joke that Tony used to hit on me from the next crib over when we were born. He just so happened to come into this world just a few hours later than I did at the same hospital. It's crazy to think, he's moved between many states, and finally made his way back to Indiana, where I've been all my life. We met at our church, Buena Baptist, back in 2016. We never really talked to each other until Tony's mom ratted him out to me about how he has a good singing voice. We became friends and learned a few songs to sing at church. We clicked so well right off the bat. Finally, he decided to ask me to be his girlfriend! Of course, I said yes... and here we are now!

Tony knows how much I love the outdoors, especially the mountains. He chose to take me sight seeing in the mountains of South Carolina. We made our way to a beautiful outdoor chapel, "The Pretty Place." As we were soaking in the view and getting our pictures taken, he tapped me on the shoulder saying, "and one more thing..." I wish I could remember what else he had said, but I was way too excited in that very moment once I realized he was finally putting a ring on it!
