Meet my bridesmaids!

Katarina King

Maid of Honor

Katarina and I met three years ago when I was just starting at URI as a freshman! She was on the outreach team for our campus ministry and in God's providence randomly selected my name as the freshman to reach out to! Praise God she did because I don't know where I'd be without her. We instantly became besties as we texted about beach lifeguarding, coffee, traveling, summer, Jesus etc! Once summer was over Kat and I finally met in person for the first time and it felt like seeing my long lost friend for the first time in years. We giggled laughed and were just so excited for the future of our friendship! Now here we are, and I am honored to have her as my maid of honor standing up beside me on this special day.

Ellie Carter

Matron of Honor

Ellie Carter has been my oldest sister all my life and one of my dearest friends! The youngest and the oldest sister can tend to not get along growing up and Ellie and I were no exception. We fought constantly as kids but once she got married I realized how much time I was wasting not investing in our relationship. Once she got home from her honeymoon I ran out to greet her and just sobbed while I hugged her. From that point on she has been one of my dearest friends and wisest council. I can't imagine saying I do without her by my side. being the only local sister for my relationship with Andy Ellie has been with me every step of the way.

Becky Cordle

Bridesmaid

I remember the long days of school when I would stare out the window and wait for Becky to get home from work! I would often run out to help her bring stuff in and get the Tonight Dough ice cream she would sometimes bring home! Being the last two sisters at home Becky and I had so many sweet date nights together at Flatbread. As well as countless body pump sessions singing to Hamiliton on the way home. Becky has been my constant mentor and always the first one to point me back to Christ throughout every season. If it hadn't been for her and her husband Jonathan inviting Andy to their going away party I never would have met my best friend. I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.

Abbey Sealy

Bridesmaid

Abbey had been my roomie pretty much since I was born. Being the closest in age to me Abbey took it upon herself to always take care of me. She was the only roomate I ever had and she was the best ever! When she moved to NYC it was probably one of the hardest transitions for me. Going from having a constant companion, someone to always talk to at the end of the day to then being alone in my room was so hard for me. However, visiting her in NYC became my most favorite thing! Our late night talks turned into late night phone calls where abbey was always free to talk to me and encourage me. I can't imagine getting married without her by my side.

Hannah Miller

Bridesmaid

Hannah Miller and I first met through a bible study campus ministry! The instant we started talking we realized we were practically sisters separated at birth. The summer of 22 is when Hannah and I had our legendary Hannah & Hannah summer! Hannah was the first one of my friends to meet and really get to know Andy! That summmer we played oh so much frisbee, went hiking, pond swimming, late night ice cream runs, and just so many laughs. Hannah always reminded me of who my Savior was and never failed to encourage me with the rich truth of the Gospel. She is truly such a gift to my life and I can't imagine saying I do without her by my side.

Kelsey Mclernon

Bridesmaid

Kelsey has been my childhood best friend since we were about 10 years old! We first met in a drama/music class held in her basement. We instantly connected through similar fashion choices and we knew we would be best friends. Middle school and High school came and Kelsey and I had each others back through it all. We went through so many ups and downs and went through a lot of hurt together but Kelsey was there for me through it all. Friends walked out but she never did. She stayed by me through all the mess and in this mess a beautiful unbreakable friendship was forged. I can't imagine saying I do without her by my side.

Shannon Norquist

Bridesmaid

Shannon has been a dear friend of mine for many years now! 4 years ago I was seeking out a female mentor and Shannon was the first one who came to mind! I asked her to meet for coffee and she joyfully agreed to be my mentor! Ever since then we've been meeting and Shannon has been just such an encouragement and a Godly example to me. She got me through so many tough seasons and then was one of the first to rejoice with me when I met Andy. I truly can't imagine saying I do without her by my side.
