Cole's
Cole’s, named in homage to the owners of the Moreland property, offers regionally inspired comfort food in a casual setting with stunning marsh views. Menu highlights include spicy fried dill pickles, Cole’s signature fried chicken or get a taste of ‘what’s smokin’ with the Smokehouse BBQ Platter.
Boundary Bowling & Game Room
The social hub of Moreland Village, the Boundary features a four-lane, state of the art bowling alley and game room equipped with pool tables, a foosball and shuffleboard table, board games and card tables. (at the same address as Cole's)
Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club
Hunting and the shooting sports have been a long-standing tradition on Palmetto Bluff for years (if not centuries). The Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club features 13 sporting clays stations winding through an expansive 40-acre forest. An elevated and covered 5-stand station, plus a wobble deck field make for a total of 15 shooting sites. The course is designed to be subordinate to the landscape while providing a fun and challenging recreational shooting environment for the novice through advanced shooter, regardless of age, ability, or experience.
Bike Bluffton
Complementary bicycles. Exploring the Bluff is a breeze with options that encourage being outdoors and healthy exercise. Our Recreation team in the Carriage House by the River House is your expert source for bicycle rentals and golf cart rentals. Our bicycles are custom-designed for our resort guests by State Bicycle Co. Guests staying in the Inn, Guest Houses or Homes may rent bicycles. Bikes are available in adult and children’s sizes, with adjustable seat heights and we have a select few tandem and trail behind bicycles. Our bike trailers are ideal for small children not yet comfortable on a bike. Golf carts are a common mode of transportation as well around the property.

Our fitness facilities let you stay connected to your physical conditioning far from your daily routine. The River House Pool proves ideal for swimming laps or leisurely lounging. At the Inn, the Family Pool and Spa Fitness Pool provide additional options for aquatic relaxation or exercise. Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center with floor-to-ceiling windows and high-end cardio and strength-training equipment makes your workout a breeze. And a welcoming movement studio for spinning, yoga and Pilates classes encourages you to break a sweat.
Fore and Aft
Light Fare and Pristine Views Serving casual, Mexican-style fare for lunch, Fore & Aft has a prime vantage point for viewing the avian sanctuary located just beyond the back yard of the Inn, where scenes of graceful egrets and herons gliding to and fro are everyday occurrences. P.S. This is a great casual spot to stop for lunch after you've been at the pool for food and a Margarita!
May River Golf Club
Take in the majesty of century-old live oaks and serene native landscapes as you linger on the scenic, 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. Woven throughout the May River Forest are 7,171 yards, with several holes on the banks of the river. Plus, enhance your game in the world-class practice facility. Treat yourself to the ultimate golf paradise.
Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club
This expansive club facility includes eight Har-Tru tennis courts with four courtside shelters, two bocce courts, six pickleball courts, one basketball court and a well-equipped pro shop and pavilion. Healthy populations of pine and live oak provide shade and ambiance, while two lighted, exhibition-size courts are home to plenty of excitement, day and night.
Nightly S'mores
Outside the River House. There are s'more stations set up at the fire pits outside the River House every evening. Head over and make yourself a night time snack!
Canteen - Grab and Go
Grab & Go Enjoy a bite while socializing with friends and neighbors or head out for a picnic at Moreland Landing or in the nearby River Road Preserve. Canteen also offers retail beer and wine. P.S. I recommend biking here from the Inn. It's a beautiful ride! And while you are there, stop at the Moreland Village Tree House
RT'S MARKET
Named for the merchant Richard Thornton Wilson, Sr. – the father of Richard T. Wilson, Jr., the early 20th-century owner of Palmetto Bluff – RT’s Market is your neighborhood general store, but it is also much more. Here you can pick up your morning newspaper and coffee, top off your gas tank, buy milk and bread for tomorrow’s breakfast, or gather the ingredients to make a gourmet meal for a house full of guests.RT’s offers a creative selection of high-quality and unique products – a large wine selection, gourmet items, seafood and meats, gifts and souvenirs – in an atmosphere of warmth and welcome. P.S. The cold brew coffee here is AMAZING and occasionally there is live music playing on the lawn out front

P.S. This is on the main floor of the Inn. It is excellent for all meals (breakfast is my favorite) and for stopping in for a drink!

River to Table Canoe Club features coastal cuisine with ingredients and inspiration drawn directly from the May River including shrimp, oysters and local seafood, and partners with area farms to source fresh vegetables, beef and poultry to create dishes that honor the bounty of the Lowcountry.

Equestrian Center
Longfield Stables’ 173-acre farm, boarding and training facility stands out among the best in the country. The Stables include a covered arena, an FEI regulation outdoor dressage arena, a 5-acre turf event field available for schooling horses and special events, main barn and receiving barn, both featuring oversized stalls.
