Will there be transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttle busses going to and from Smugglers Notch Resort. If you choose to stay somewhere else, let us know and we will see if we can make arrangements for you. Shuttle bus schedule from Smugglers Notch Resort to the Barn (wedding venue): - Pickup at life side parking lot - Bus 1 leaves parking lot at 3:10pm EST - Bus 2 leaves parking lot at 3:40pm EST Shuttle from the wedding back to the resort: - Bus 1 leaves at 10:30pm EST - Bus 2 leaves at 11:15pm EST

What are the hotel room rates at Smugglers Notch Resort?

Answer

Hotel Rooms Rates at Smugglers Notch Resort: *Pricing includes room rates, taxes and resort fees, use of facilities (see question below) and lift tickets! - Studio with 2 guests, $449 per night - 1-bedroom with 2 guests, $557 per night - 2-bedrooms with 4 guests, $717 per night - 3-bedrooms with 6 guests, $878 per night - 4-bedrooms with 8 guests, $1041 per night **You may add or subtract guest for $30 per person per night. They will also get access to all facilities and tickets. **All rooms can fit more people than noted. Feel free to ask when you call to book! For example, a 1 bedroom can actually fit up to 5 people. Notes: *The above rates are based on a 2-night stay. *Longer stays are available and will be priced accordingly. *Non skiers can deduct $15 per night. *1-night refundable deposit due at booking.

When I book my hotel room, what is included?

If you book under the "Klein Del Carmine Wedding," the pricing you receive will include: - Your room - Lift tickets - Access to the pool and hot tubs - Access to the Fun Zone (arcade) - Tubing, Ice Skating, Snow Mobiles Not a skier? Check in at Smugglers Notch Resort is at 6pm, so plan your travels accordingly.

How many nights should we stay in VT?

Answer

The wedding is on a Saturday, but we would suggest you make your way to Vermont on Friday and leave Sunday. If you want to stay longer, GO FOR IT! You can book your accommodations through our room blocks (we get discounts!) and then extend your stay from there. Andrew and Hannah will be up there from February 5th - 11th, 2025.

Do I have to stay at Smugglers Notch Resort?

Answer

Of course not! You are more than welcome to stay at any other location of your choosing. But if you do choose to stay at Smugglers Notch, you will be right by the mountain and not need to worry about driving to and from the wedding venue. But, most importantly, you will be staying at the same place as the bride and groom!

Are all wedding events happening at The Barn at Smugglers Notch?

Answer

Yes! We are so excited to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one beautiful location overlooking the mountains!

What is the dress code?

Answer

It's always fun to get dressed up! Our wedding will be formal/black tie optional. REMEMBER: It is winter time, so there is snow, mud, weather, you name it. You can wear boots and jackets to the event and we will have somewhere for you to store your items. When you arrive at the venue, put on your heels and get the party started!

Are children allowed at our wedding?

Answer

We love your kids, but this event is adults only. A great time for you to let loose and have fun without any worries!

Can I drive to the wedding venue instead of using the offered transportation?

Answer

If you want to drive to the venue from the hotel, no problem! There will be parking at the venue. To make sure no one drives drunk, you are more than welcome to leave your car at the venue over night and take the bus back to the hotel. Ubers and Lyfts will be hard to access as the venue is in a pretty remote location.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Even though we are crazy and love the cold, the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held indoors. We are planning on having heat lamps so if you want a break, you can still step outside!

Will I need a car to get around the area?

Answer

Jeffersonville is a pretty remote location. If you fly into Burlington International Airport, you are able to Uber to your chosen hotel, however from there, it might be harder to travel around the area. If all you want to do is ski at the resort and attend the wedding, then no car = no problem! But, if you want the opportunity to explore outside of the resort, we suggest renting a car to get around.
