Unknowingly passing each other by at church for three years, Aldo and Hannah broke the ice with a Spongebob joke backstage before a church service. Curious glances and far too giddy conversations sparked interest in them both as Aldo planned to shoot his shot and Hannah began choosing a possible wedding song.

On the eve of Christmas and during last minute shopping, Hannah received a message from a very nervous Aldo asking her out on a date. He wrote the message knowing this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Fortunately, with loud giggles and jumping in the middle of a Hobby Lobby aisle, Hannah agreed to their first date at the movies to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Disguised as Hannah's college graduation pictures, Aldo, along with their families, planned a romantic setup on a boardwalk at South Padre Island. With flowers, lanterns, and candles sitting in the light of the setting sun, Aldo waited for his future bride with sweaty palms and already teary eyes. When Hannah approached the scene, soft music played as Aldo led her to the spot that would carry a moment they would remember forever. There, in front of family, Hannah said "Yes" to the man of her dreams.
