St. Albans City downtown, while small, has cute shops, cafes and food options. Sunday & Monday tend to be a bit sleepier as some owners choose to take those days off. For those days, some recommendations include: Catalyst Coffee Bar, Traveled Cup (food), As The Crow Flies (shop), Eloquent Pages (bookstore), & Remarket (upcycling/thrift)
Taylor Park hosts a cute Farmers Market on Saturday's from 9-2. Music typically starts later in the morning. You'll find art, produce, meat, cheese, honey, canned goods and maybe the Gelato gal. Worth a walk through if you're exploring downtown Red House Sweets, our favorite bakery, is a must stop on Saturday (unfortunately closed Su/M)
Take a walk, run or bike on the trails we consider our backyard. Trails can be accessed from multiple places, we prefer Governor Smith Dr from Congress St. The Main Loop is a classic but Adam LOVES Ridge Trail
On Monday, 26th at 10 AM, St. Albans is hosting a parade on Main street, ending in Taylor Park with vendors. Road closures should be minimal & short lived.
