FAQs

If you have any questions other than what's listed here, call Hannah at 612-483-8046
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No! This is a casual party. Wear whatever you're comfortable in, except ties. Aaron says "NO TIES ALLOWED"!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! There's a playground, and we will have games and coloring activities.

Question

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

Yes! As long as they're well behaved and leashed, your fur baby can join!

Question

What type of food should we expect?

Answer

We will be having a taco truck (gluten-free), ice cream, cookies, and a variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can make sure to accommodate.

Question

Is there a schedule?

Answer

Nope. The idea is for this to be a casual picnic party. We will have games scattered throughout the park, food trucks going at all times, and at some point we will play a few games of bingo. Is there a set time for bingo? Nope! You'll just have to hang out and wait for the magic to happen.

Question

How are you planning to keep your guests safe?

Answer

We've structured our party to avoid the congestion of a group meal time. Food and drinks will be available throughout, and you're welcome to help yourself. All activities will be outside, several different sitting areas will be set up, and we will have hand sanitizer stations set up throughout the park. We want everyone to feel comfortable, and for that reason there will be no judgement if you feel uncomfortable coming, or if you would prefer to wear a mask during the party.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

YES! There will be some parking at the park, but a large portion of the lot will be allocated to our food trucks. We would recommend parking at the US Forest Service Rocky Mountain Regional Office (1617 Cole Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80401) which backs up to the park. You are also welcome to park near our house and walk to Applewood Park from there! Aaron will be making a map of the area with walking routes for your convenience. Stay tuned!
