Question

What is the venue address?

Answer

The Welch Creamery is located at 26273 County 7 Blvd, Welch, MN.

Question

Will there be parking at the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Guests are welcome to drive to the wedding venue, the Welch Creamery. The parking lot is located across the bridge, roughly 0.2 miles away (a five minute walk). Follow posted signs for parking when you arrive. Those planning to drive to the venue will be given the option to walk or shuttle from the designated parking to the Creamery. Please plan to arrive at the parking lot no later than 4:00 pm to allow ample time to park.

Question

Will there be a hotel shuttle to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes. The shuttle schedule is as follows: SHUTTLES TO CEREMONY Please arrive at the hotel entrance 10 minutes before the pickup time. Nichols Inn: 3:30pm Pickup AmericInn, Holiday Inn, & Rodeway Inn: walk to Nichols Inn for 3:30pm Pickup St. James: 3:30pm Pickup Quality Inn: 3:45pm Pickup Country Inn: 3:45pm Pickup RETURN SHUTTLES Shuttles back to Red Wing hotels leave the venue at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, and 12am. Each shuttle drops off at all Red Wing hotels with designated shuttle service.

Question

Can I use Lyft / Uber in the area?

Answer

Rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are not available in the Welch, Red Wing, and Hastings area. Please plan accordingly during your stay. Driving, carpooling, or utilizing the hotel shuttles are all great options for the wedding. There are also book-ahead taxi services. We suggest pre-arranging your transport if you choose to utilize a taxi service as availability is limited.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Masks are not required at the wedding ceremony or reception. Much of the evening’s events will be outdoors and in our large open-air tent. You are absolutely welcome to wear a mask if you wish.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire is encouraged. Please dress up for this special event. Suits and cocktail dresses will not be out of place.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Most of our wedding ceremony and reception will take place on grass and gravel. We highly recommend choosing shoes that are lawn friendly. For those hoping to wear heels, large block heels or wedges are recommended. Flats or sandal flats 👍

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be largely outdoors. We expect higher temperatures and some humidity in late June. There is an air-conditioned area for those with heat concerns. Summer weather in Minnesota can be unpredictable and we recommend guests bring warmer layers in case of lower temperatures or summer storms. If it rains, we have a large tent and plentiful indoor space to accommodate.

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We leave this decision up to the parents. Children are welcome at the wedding and reception. However, the evening is geared toward adults and may make a nice date night for parents who need a getaway. We will not have childcare or a designated "kids zone" available. The event is relatively formal and is near a busy road so please take that into consideration. We ask that parents who do bring kids remain vigilant in monitoring younger children. You know your kids best, and we leave the decision with you!

Question

I have dietary restrictions / allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please include any dietary restrictions or concerns with your RSVPs for each event.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. We are so excited to provide complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for our family and friends. The bar will serve a selection of beer and wine handpicked by Hannah and Alex, as well as soft drinks, water, and coffee. There is not an ATM available onsite so please plan to bring cash to tip our amazing bartenders and our live musician.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. Please check out the Registry page on this website for gift ideas.

Question

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

We understand that all of our friends and love ones may not be able to join in person. We won't be providing a virtual join in, but would love to schedule a personal call or zoom with you after the wedding if you're unable to attend.

Question

Should I bring my party pants?

Answer

Yes.

For all the days along the way
