One of Hannah's favorite places to hangout in the area! Just north of downtown Raleigh, this beautiful outdoor district offers almost everything you could need. Everything is within walking distance and has some of the best restaurants in the area! Check out Restoration Hardware for brunch or just next door head over to Tru Food Kitchen for an excellent Lunch/Dinner. With multiple shops in the area including Anthropology, Lulu Lemon, Alo Yoga, Peter Millar, and more you'll be kept busy all day! Stop by Ben and Jerry's for a sweet treat to top things off or head across the street to Level 7 for a sunset cocktail.
Come check out one of the most fascinating and historic buildings in downtown Raleigh. Raleigh Times is a 100 year old building that used to be home to the "Raleigh Daily Times Newspaper". Now a multi-room and level restaurant with great food and drinks! Check out the rooftop for dinner.
All things shopping, entertainment, dining, and fun! Recommended if you would like to spend the day in one spot walking around. Features a movie theatre, multiple restaurants, shops, and a few bars. Some of our personal favorites are Sports and Social, M Sushi, Dram and Drought, and of course Williams Sonoma.
All things shopping and eats! This location is in downtown Raleigh (close to our recommended hotels). There are multiple things to do here. Visit "The Market" Saturday morning to shop from local vendors. Take a trip to Ponysaurus for a bite to eat and a fun cocktail. Or walk over to Andia's Ice Cream for a sweet treat. This place will not disappoint!
If you're looking for nature trails and breath taking views, look no further than Umstead Park. A place the couple frequents to get some fresh air. This is the state park of the area and offers multiple shaded trails throughout the woods. Take a hike on some of our favorite trails including Loblolly and Company Mill Trail!
Walking distance to our recommended hotels, Whiskey Kitchen is a great indoor/outdoor dining option! Offering great food and of course lots of whiskey.
Another great option for a full day of shopping and eating! Located minutes from downtown Raleigh, the Village District offers a seemingly endless amount of restaurant options. Check out Postino or Ajisai for a great meal and then head over to Goodberrys Custard shop for a sweet treat after! Fun fact there are only a few Goodberrys in existence, all in NC!
