Shuttle
June 8, 2024 3:15 pm - 3:00 am
Transportation from Gare De Lyon to the venue and back on the day of the wedding will be provided! On Saturday at 3:10pm, buses will be picking up guests at Cours de Charolais (coach arrivals/departures at Gare de Lyon station). At the end of the night we will have two different rounds of buses taking guests back to Gare de Lyon, the first of which will be at midnight and the second will be at 2:30am on Sunday morning. For more information and details on the pick-up and return shuttles, please see the 'Shuttle Instructions' tab. If you are staying at any of the hotels we recommended or an Airbnb in the Gare De Lyon area, you should have no problem walking to and from the bus pickup location. If you are staying elsewhere in Paris, we recommend you arrange travel back to and from Novotel - Paris Gare de Lyon. Taxis are available to book from G7 Taxis (https://www.g7.fr/en/, phone: +331.41.27.66.99), as well as Ubers in advance. Please let us know and we can assist with this as well!
Travel Note
BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS! Paris has a great transportation system that will make it easy to see the sites from the Gare de Lyon area over the wedding weekend! We recommend buying a packet of tickets so you're ready to hop around the city. Below are a few notes to keep in mind: Weekdays, the metro operates from 5:30 a.m. to about 1:15 a.m. On Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as on the day before a bank holiday, trains run until about 2:15 a.m. The RER operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to about 1:20 a.m. When the metro is closed, the Noctilien night bus network takes to the road. Night buses operate from 0:30 a.m. to about 5:30 a.m. For more information, you can visit: https://www.ratp.fr/en/visite-paris/english/visiting-paris-and-its-surrounding-areas.

Flight
For those flying in, either Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Orly Airport (ORY) are both good options. Ubers and Taxis are very easy to come by in Paris and make an easy option to get from the airport to your hotel. You can also take public transit as follows: - From CDG you can take the RER B southbound to Gare Du Nord or Chatelet Les Halles. At Gare Du Nord you can then transfer to the RER D or if you decide to transfer at Chatelet Les Halles, you can then transfer to either the RER A or RER D southbound to Gare De Lyon. - From ORY you take the Orlyval bus to Antony station. At Antony, you get on the RER B northbound to Chatelet Les Halles. At Chatelet Les Halles you can then transfer to either the RER A or RER D southbound to Gare De Lyon.
