FAQs

Question

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! You do need to RSVP to attend. Please do so by September 7th so we know how much food to order and the amount of tables and chairs we need in advance. If you are in the bridal party or part of either families, we ask that you RSVP as well.

Question

Why are there two separate RSVPs?

Answer

There are two RSVP categories so we know exactly how many people will be at each part of the day. This helps us to know how many seats we need and how much food to serve. If you are only coming to one part, please only RSVP for that part. If you will be at both, please RSVP for both parts.

Question

What do I do if I can't come in the last minute but I have already sent my RSVP

Answer

Please let us know! We want to know if you can't come so we can adjust accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we can only accommodate guests who have been formally invited and listed in your RSVP section.

Question

What is the dress code

Answer

Cocktail Attire

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We are serving lunch and dessert following the ceremony.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No, we are not providing or serving alcohol at our reception. We ask that guest refrain from bringing their own in order to respect our choice to omit alcohol.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes!! There will be both music and dancing!

Question

Is 30.06 enforced in either of the venues used for this event?

Answer

Marty Leonard Community Chapel is the only venue for our wedding that enforces this policy. We ask that any guest that this regulation affects to plan accordingly so that we may be in good contractual standing with the chapel and their staff.

Question

Cellphone and Camera Policy

Answer

Please refrain from using cellphones and cameras for the duration of the ceremony. We don't want your insta, your snap, your tweeterage, or any extra bits our bites of our ceremony on your myspace or your bookface. Bet you can guess who wrote this one.

Question

Where Do I Park

Answer

Marty Leonard Community Chapel: A small amount of parking is available close to the building but once that parking is full, follow the signs for additional chapel parking. The Hampton Estates: Guests can park anywhere inside the gates closest to the building . Once the lot is full, guests may start to park outside of the gates on Otto road.

Question

Is there someone I can contact for more information or clarification?

Answer

Yes! You can contact Hannah by email if you need clarification or have any more questions. The address is hannahkolkmeier@gmail.com
