We're Getting Married!

The story began on September 1, 2023. Hannah had a free Friday evening and decided to check out Hopper's sand volleyball court with a friend. While waiting in line to play, Hannah heard a voice behind her ask, "So how does this thing work?". The voice belonged to a tall, athletic guy named Jeff Mason, who was new to town and looking to get involved in the volleyball scene. Jeff had decided to try out a random volleyball event and knew his night was taking a turn for the better when he lined up behind a cute, tall blond girl! And as it turns out, both Jeff and Hannah were impressed by the other's volleyball skills. They ended up in line next to each other a few times, continued chatting, and realized they had much more in common than just volleyball. Hannah delayed leaving the volleyball event for a while, hoping that Jeff might ask for her number. Sure enough, Jeff wandered over to Hannah as she prepared to leave and asked for her number to "play more volleyball". Hannah agreed, but not before asking how old Jeff was (and remarking that he was pretty good 'for his age') and if he went to church. Jeff sent a hilarious follow-up text after Hannah left, and they haven't stopped texting since! Almost immediately, they began playing sports and spending more time together. Their connection quickly grew, and both recognized they had something special and worth fighting for. Their love for each other and love for God helped them navigate adversity early on in their dating life. A year and a half later, Jeff got down on one knee at Sapphire Point to ask Hannah to marry him. For Hannah, it was the easiest "yes" of her life to spend forever with her best friend.
