Hannah first developed a relationship with artistic inspiration when she was a toddler composing poetry in her car seat. From childhood through adolescence and into adulthood she outlined novels, wrote the beginnings of plays, and dreamed of starring on Broadway... but life kept getting in the way. Hannah was distracted by fears and insecurities, romantic entanglements, and feelings that she should be focusing on more serious endeavors. She tried to be serious, but she kept finding her way back to art. After initiating a divorce in the fall of 2024, Hannah experienced a jolt of inspiration that led to her first original song. She started a singing group with some new friends, and then she wrote a second song; then a third, fourth, and a fifth, which was actually good. In December 2024, she started taking accordion lessons with Gianni, who would eventually become Hannah's musical collaborator in their band, Thirst Trap. It took a full year for Hannah to realize that this -- music, art, creation -- was Hannah's one great love. It took a few more months for Hannah to commit to choosing her one great love every day.
