We don't have a 'love at first sight' story. We met in Chicago at grad school in 2016. We had several classes together but didn't think anything of it (quite literally, we sat next to one another first semester and maybe said 2 words to each other). We started to hang out in groups outside of school and started to get to know each other more. Before you know it, we were spending the majority of our time together exploring the city, studying, and growing together.

Five years later, we are on the path to being married. We have been living in Chicago together for four years and have a passion for travel and new experiences. During the past couple of years our bond has grown and strengthened through a global pandemic, developing careers, and caring for our little pup, Buddy. We are so excited to share this day with you as a part of our adventure.

We want to take some time to extend a thank you ahead of time. We are so grateful to have you in our lives and appreciate you considering spending the day with us. Some of you live near, some live far, and we know that it is a big ask. Even if you can't make it, thank you for being in our lives.
