Canalside
Take a walk and enjoy the views at the heart of Downtown Buffalo’s waterfront, which are unmissable this time of year. Make sure to get a picture with “Shark Girl.”
Delaware Park
A bodacious park in the heart of Buffalo designed by Frederick Law Olmsted (known also for designing New York City’s Central Park). Hannah and Eric spent a lot of time exploring here during the pandemic.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House
A historic house museum designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Hannah and Eric took a tour together here in July 2020 and fell in love with the blend of indoor and outdoor space.
Forest Lawn
A historic rural cemetery with 269 acres of hills, lakes, and sculptures, making it one of Hannah and Eric’s favorite spots for a walk or drive. Notable resting place of President Millard Fillmore and Buffalo native/“punk-funk” musician Rick James.
The Little Club
A romantic little wine and tapas bar…and the location of Hannah and Eric’s first date!
Tappo Restaurant
Cozy Italian restaurant where Eric proposed to Hannah in a rooftop igloo. The meatballs are incredible.
Sophia's Restaurant
The best Buffalo breakfast and must-go spot every time Hannah and Eric are in town. Eric recommends the corned beef hash and Hannah recommends an omelette. Don’t miss the homemade bread!
Big Ditch Brewing Company
A go-to stop for food/beer when out-of-towners visit. Their seasonal Pineapple Hayburner IPA is one of Hannah and Eric’s favorite beers of all time.
Resurgence Brewing Company
When an industrial-chic taproom and chill cocktail bar become next door neighbors. Try the Sponge Candy Stout at Resurgence and Loganberry Vodka at Hartman’s (both named for Buffalo delicacies).
Cole's
This Irish pub is Hannah and Eric’s favorite restaurant in Elmwood Village (not to mention a fun place to watch a Bills game).
