[FREE - well, that is until you undoubtedly find a wonderful souvenir to bring back!] The City Market is a historic market complex in downtown Charleston. Established in the 1790s, the market stretches for four city blocks, through a continuous series of one-story market sheds.
[FREE] Rainbow Row is the name for a series of thirteen colorful historic houses. It represents the longest cluster of Georgian row houses in the United States. The name Rainbow Row was coined after the pastel colors they were painted as they were restored in the 1930s and 1940s.
[FREE] Waterfront Park is a twelve-acre park along approximately one-half mile of the Cooper River in Charleston. Waterfront Park also contains the Pineapple Fountain which is an iconic symbol of Charleston.
[FREE] The Battery is a landmark defensive seawall and promenade in Charleston, famous for its stately antebellum homes. Named for a civil-war coastal defense artillery battery at the site, it stretches along the lower shores of the Charleston peninsula, bordered by the Ashley and Cooper Rivers, which meet here to form Charleston harbor.

[FREE] Sullivan's Island is a three and a half-mile long barrier island near the entrance of the Charleston Harbor. Sullivan's Island beach is our absolute favorite place to be in the summer (aside from on the boat that is). Aside from the beach, there are plenty of places to find a bite to eat on Sullivan's Island!
[FREE] Isle of Palms is a barrier island on the South Carolina coast. The town lies along a narrow strip of land, hugging the beach, separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. Another one of our absolute favorite places to be in the summer is within the town and on the beach at Isle of Palms. Fun fact - Chris and I got engaged on Isle of Palms, so this town holds the most special place in our hearts. Aside from the beach, there are plenty of places to find a bite to eat on Isle of Palms!
King Street is a vibrant and historically significant thoroughfare running through downtown, known for its stops, restaurants, and nightlife. It's divided into three sections: Lower King (antique district), Middle King (fashion district), and Upper Kind (design district).
Shem Creek is a creek that runs through the city of Charleston and Town of Mt. Pleasant and empties into the Charleston Harbor. The creek's waterfront and boardwalk is a popular destination for restaurants, bars, and recreation activities (like kayaking and/or paddle boarding).
