Though Hannah and Carsten went to Ramsey High School together they did not officially meet until May 25, 2019 at a Memorial Day party hosted by one of Carsten’s groomsmen, Carl. Hannah made the first move talking to Carsten about gluten and at the end of the night she shook Carsten’s hand goodbye. She immediately asked for his number through their mutual friends and they went on their first date two days later down the shore. From that point on they were inseparable; three weeks after the first date, Carsten asked Hannah to be his girlfriend.
