Please RSVP at least a month before the event (on or before November 5th, 2020).
Use the “RSVP” page on our website to accept or decline your invitation. Enter your first and last name as it was written on your invitation to respond for yourself, your guest(s), or your entire family/group.
Please see our “giving options” page. We understand the expense involved for our guests to attend and simply request the pleasure of your company on our wedding day. However, if you wish to provide a gift, we have provided our registry information to Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon. We have also provided the option to make a donation in our name to the Day of the Dogs rescue organization.
Day of the Dogs serves rescue animals at the Harris County Animal Shelter where we found our dog, Pepper.
Casual attire. Just bring yourself and a good time!
The venue requires that masks be worn at all times except for when you are seated at your table. We will have extras if you do not have or forget your own!
The reception festivities will begin promptly at 7, so plan to arrive a little before then!
There is a large lot of public parking available at our reception venue. However, please bear in mind that the venue (besides our reserved event space) is open to the public, so spaces may fill up and limit the number of spaces available to our guests. We recommend carpooling or using ride share services (such as Lyft or Uber) in order to ensure everyone who drives to the event is able to secure a space (just in case)!
Yes, BUT the venue locks the gate to the parking lot overnight, so you will only be able to pick up your car after 11am the following day.
When you get to Braman Winery & Brewery, walk through the front/main entrance, go all the way to the back, turn right, and our event space is on your right. It’s called the “barrel room” if you need to ask staff for assistance or further directions!
Your invitation should specify “and guest” if we expect you’ll be bringing a date. Please make note in your RSVP if you plan to bring someone!
Kids are welcome, but because the venue is a brewery/winery with other areas open to the public, the venue requires that children stay in the reserved event space and must be with an adult at all times. You know your children best and can make your plans accordingly!
Yes!
There will be beer and wine!
We will be ordering food for the group as a whole, so be mindful of your own diet, food sensitivities, or allergies when making your selections.
See our “travel” page. We have blocked rooms at the Marriott hotel in the Sugar Land Town Square at a reduced rate for our out of town guests. Please note that the last day to book a room at this hotel at the reduced rate is Friday November 20th.
The hotel we chose is located in the Sugar Land Town Square with lots of restaurants, shopping, bars, and activities nearby (most within walking distance!), as well as proximity to the venue. The couple and their families will also be staying at this hotel and spending some time out in the square that weekend and would love for you to join them! However, please note there are many other hotel options in the area that may also suit your travel and budget needs.
The hotel where we have blocked rooms (the Marriott in Sugar Land Town Square) does NOT offer shuttle services to or from the reception location. But you may want to check with your particular hotel about their transportation options if you choose to stay elsewhere. Otherwise, we recommend making use of your own vehicle, a designated driver, and/or ride share services available in the area such as Lyft or Uber to get to and from the reception.
We will be getting married in a private ceremony at the courthouse. Please join us in celebration at our wedding reception.
We have booked a mini-moon to Key West, Florida.
