Hanna and Violet met through a dating app. Violet ended up on Hanna's profile after interviewing for jobs in Columbus. The two of them planned a date for the following day, April 23rd, 2021; however, Violet almost canceled due to car issues! Violet had her car looked at and made it to Columbus. They met at Gramz Bakery and had coffee. The first thing Violet said was, "Isn't she cute! I will buy her coffee." The two stayed and chatted for hours until the coffee shop closed. They then walked around downtown, visited Thai Connection, and took a walk through the park. Hanna regretted not kissing her goodbye after that first date, but was confident they would see each other again soon. Their second date took place a couple of weeks later and they saw a movie at The Artcraft Theatre. Hanna knew after that date that Violet was the one and started looking for an engagement ring that same week. Hanna had planned to wait for six months. However, as they were chatting together one morning, Violet was joking about a coworker who was hitting on her. Hanna then said, "Well, here, maybe this will help." She then handed her the ring and asked, "Will you marry me?" Violet was shocked! However, she said yes right away! The two planned to have a long engagement. However, the couple decided they couldn't wait, and so they eloped in their backyard on September 25th 2021, surrounded by a handful of friends and family. The couple knew they wanted to have a big party sometime soon. And so here we are... We have been married for 4 years and have had ups and many downs. Job and career changes, moving houses, and much more. However, we have held on to our love, and we are excited to renew our vows and celebrate our love with all of you.
