Unfortunately, the venue we had initially booked ran into some legal issues so we had to cancel our wedding and reception there.
Our wedding will be held at the Lazy Oaks Resort in Lakeside, AZ. This is a charming little property with cabins surrounded by a lake. Lakeside, AZ is about a 4 hour drive from Tucson. Since our wedding is going to be further than expected, we have rented the entire venue from Friday, October 17th to Sunday, October 19th. There are plenty of cabins for everyone who wants to stay all weekend, though, some may have to share one of the larger cabins with some friends in order for everyone to have a place.

We have rented the property from Friday-Sunday. There is enough lodging for everyone to stay as long as some friends and family don't mind bunking together! We understand this is an extra unexpected cost so if this is a cost you cannot take on, please reach out to Thomas or Hanna because we want everyone of you there and we will make it happen! Dogs are allowed in every cabin, though there is a $30 charge for the entire stay, not per night. Please look at the Lazy Oaks website to see which cabin may suit your needs! You can call Lazy Oaks and let them know which cabin you would like to book and they can let you know what is still available!
Yes! After we have our rehearsal, we will be going to White Mountain Family Fun Park! Please meet us there to race go-carts, play some mini golf or go in the arcade!
Check in is between 3:00-4:00 pm on Friday, October 17th. Checkout is 11:00 am Sunday October 19th.
The weather should be gorgeous around 75 during the day, though it may get chilly at night. We recommend packing a sweater and some cozy clothes as well as whatever you feel comfortable wearing in 75 degree weather. Since rain is possible, bringing an umbrella may be beneficial! We may be spending some nights around one of the fire pits outside, so please feel free to bring some comfy clothes to hang out in.
Yes! You do need a valid fishing license, but you can catch and release anywhere on the lake!
Yes! You can take them out whenever you'd like.
Yes! The venue is dog friendly! There is a one time $30 non-refundable charge for the entire stay.
There are walking and hiking trails near by, cute cafes and so much more! We will have a print out of some fun stuff to do in each cabin.
Since we are both vegan, there will be vegan options available for dinner as well as options for those that are gluten free. We will also be having a meat option.
