"Hanna is my absolute best friend. We've always been really close, and she has always been my favorite person to annoy! I'm so happy to have shared so many laughs and hugs, especially this past year. I'm so thankful to have her as my sister and I can't wait to watch her grow old with her best friend." -Kora

"I’ve known Shane since we were about 5 years old. I moved away but returned aged 10. I have had both the pleasure and challenge of growing up with him ever since! A true friendship that has stood the tests of time, distance, and a fierce sporting rivalry!" -Keir

"The adventures of Han and Pheebs first started when we met our freshmen year of college at Edgewood, 6 years ago! We got along instantly and we've created countless memories together, not only at college as roommates but beyond that as well. I always enjoy spending time in her hometown of Chetek, and have as much love for her family and friends as I do for her! I'm happy to know we'll always be best friends, even when we're 80 and have 15 cats! I've enjoyed getting to know Shane the past couple of years and seeing the two grow together. I'm blessed to have them in my life and I can't wait to celebrate their special day!" -Phoebe

"Shane is my older brother although we haven’t seen eye to eye all the time he is the best big brother I could have ever hoped for and I couldn’t have wished for anyone better." -Kyle

"My friendship with Hanna goes way back to my freshman year of high school when she was assigned my peer mentor to show me the ropes of high school. From that point on, Hanna and I were glued to the hip in dance, choir, volleyball, water skiing, and awkward double dates at the ice rink. We were together so often and looked so much alike that Hanna started calling me her mini-me. We were lucky enough to end up in the same city after high school so I could pop in on Hanna's shifts at the Roman Candle, pet sit for her date nights with Shane, and get covered in paint with her on multiple occasions. I'm so blessed to be Hanna's friend and can't wait to include Shane in our many shenanigans." -Kaylee

"I had the great displeasure of meeting Shane in year 7 and we spent the following 7 years competing with each other in every school/A Level subject. Despite this, along with his questionable choice of football team, we still thrived as great friends, having countless laughs and ridiculous experiences along the way." -Jake

"Hi, I'm Fran! I got to know Hanna through our time together on the Chetek Hydroflites, our high school volleyball, - and dance teams, and even show choir. We've been fortunate enough to both live in Madison for the past four years as well, which has kept us close!" -Fran

"I first met Shane when we both started uni. We were friends from day one and we’ve made some great memories together! It was a surprise when he said he was moving across the pond to follow the love of his life, but I guess it’s worked out pretty well for him! Our friendship stood the distance, even with him being a blue." -Tom

Hanna and I met in 2018 while serving pizzas at the Roman candle. Our friendship really took off after Hanna and Shane moved to Beaver Dam, which is also my hometown. I have countless memories with both Hanna & Shane. Most of which involve Shane beating both of us in uno, or just hanging out having a glass of wine after a long day at work. I’m so thankful to have met both of them and can’t wait watch their relationship flourish over the years to come.

“I met Shane in my first year of university. After many memorable nights out, countless sleepovers (sorry Jake), and endlessly winding up Tom, we were inseparable. I was truly gutted when he left for America, but happy for him because he knew he’d met his soulmate.”
