Wedding Transportation

Answer

Transportation to and from the wedding will be provided from The Phelps, which is located across from The Lytle Park Hotel. Guests staying elsewhere are also welcome, and encouraged, to use the provided transportation. We'll also have valet service. At the end of the night, you're welcome to leave your car at the venue, take the shuttle back to the hotel, and retrieve your car on Sunday between 9am-12pm!

Your children are welcome at all events! We’ll have complimentary and optional childcare on-site for ages 0–7 during the wedding, but we're asking that you preregister. Contact Hanna for more information.

Friday Evening Restaurant Suggestions

All are welcome to join us for a casual welcome gathering on Friday evening. We’ll have light bites and a sweet treat. If you’d like to grab dinner before or after, here are a few of our favorite nearby restaurants: Abigail Street – 1214 Vine St. Alcove by MadTree – 1410 Vine St. (this is the restaurant attached to the venue) Bakersfield OTR – 1213 Vine St. Sacred Beast – 1437 Vine St. Pepp & Delores – 1501 Vine St. Five Kitchen and Bar – 1324 Vine St.

Streetcar to the Welcome Party

Answer

The streetcar is free and runs a 3.6-mile loop. From the Phelps or Lytle Park Hotel, walk three blocks west on 4th St to the stop at the NE corner of 4th & Main. Ride five stops north and exit at 12th & Vine (the first stop after it turns west). MadTree Alcove is a two-block walk north at 14th & Vine. Missed the stop? Exit at 14th & Elm instead and walk two blocks east to Vine, then left to 1410 Vine St.
