If you ask Logan about our first date, he will tell you I was 3 hours late and brought a friend... Although this statement is technically true, there is more to the story! Logan and I met on a dating app as most couple do nowadays. I was working night shift over 4th of July 2024, while he was at his friend's lake house. Neither of us remember what we talked about, but we agree that there was probably a lot of jokes and sarcasm. On July 5th I went to enjoy the nice weather at a wine bar with my friend Christina. I was messaging Logan the whole time... I wasn't bold enough to tell him I wanted to meet the next day, so instead I told him that Christina has never been to The Crafty Jackalope, so that is where we will be the next day and he should join us. So, on July 6th, I told Logan I had a tattoo appointment but would meet up with him after. My tattoo started an hour late and ran over... so yes, I was very late! Of course, I was not going to bail on my original plan with Christina, so yes, I also brought a friend. Both Logan was well aware of going into the date! I didn't know till later that he waited in a Sheetz parking lot for hours waiting on me. I'm not sure what made him still show up to meet me that night, but I do know that when I first locked eyes with him, my life changed forever. Since that first night, Logan and I quickly became best friends. We do everything together. We have traveled to so many beautiful places and have had incredible experiences. We hiked Zion, went skydiving over the Grand Canyon, and tried every snack the grocery stores in Costa Rica have to offer. We have supported each other through hard times and see each other when we feel misunderstood. The laughs we share together are irreplaceable. God has brought us together to challenge one another and to grow together. We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives and cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
