FAQs

Question

Where can I watch the ceremony via livestream?

Answer

We will be hosting a private event on Facebook. Those who have expressed an interest in watching the ceremony live should have received an invitation via Facebook or sent a link via text. If you are interested and have not received a link, send a family member your contact info and we will try to send it as soon as possible.

Question

Is parking available on-site?

Answer

Yes, the Old Sugar Mill has ample parking in their parking lot; however, we highly recommend Uber or Lyft if you will be drinking.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage cocktail attire. Please no worn jeans or tennis shoes.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The predicted weather for this date is about 83 degrees. For those of you coming in from Arizona, remember that your parka may qualify as a "personal item" (LOL)

Question

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will he held outside. The reception will be inside. We will have outdoor fire pits available, if needed.

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We have chosen not to place any room blocks. Rooms seem to be much more expensive when at a "block rate" as opposed to everyone booking rooms themselves. We do recommend a variety of hotels to fit everyone's needs. These are listed under the "Travel" tab.

Question

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm, so we highly recommend arriving by 5:30 pm. This will give everyone enough time to socialize, find their seats, and sign the guest book.

Question

May I bring my children?

Answer

This is strictly a 21 and over event, as we will be having an open bar. Please utilize this opportunity to socialize, eat, drink, dance, and have fun kid-less!

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

As much as we would like to accommodate as many as possible, we must be strict in regards to our guest count due to COVID-19 regulations. Please only RSVP for those the invitation is addressed to.

Question

Will there be any COVID restrictions during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, masks will be required. We will have a DJ playing music; however, per Yolo County guidelines, our venue will not allow dancing. We also had to make significant cuts to our guest count. Each table will be placed 6 feet apart and limited to 6-8 people, as opposed to the normal 8-10. (Masks and social distancing will not be policed.)
